Well I guess I will be the first one to jump in and say THANKS. I did not put anything on the ground this year but I was there for moral support. Being as this is a team thing I guess that is allowed. As last year I had a great time out trying, and to me thats what it is about. I put to much time in this year preparing for a couple of hunts that did not happen and not enough time hunting. Hey Northern-Lights, you are correct sir, I did have the pleasure of being a proud member of the winners of the first BHT hunting contest, The Grumpy Ole Men. As I recall there were some awfully fine hunters on that team also. I hope we do it again this upcoming season, I am kind of getting used to having these bragging rights. I guess that no one has told the other members of the Backstrap brothers that the season is over. I have not heard from them in awhile. I tell you when you look down and you are teamed with Gamohunter, Bguest, and Texasrazor, you know that you are going to have a great year. I would like to also say congratulations to all of the other BHT team members that took part in this years contest. May all your arrows fly true.

Thanks a lot, I had a blessed season, 3 does, 1 buck, pretty good. Its great to participate in this event, it should never stop even if only 3 people sign up. its a great thing to be part of this contest and the fun of being on a team with guys who love bowhunting as much as I do. Now its time to start predator hunting. As the deer numbers were lower even for myself this year, so the coyotes have to start hitting the dirt. Good luck spring turkey and any fishing you all get done over the summer.
