Was invitet to a bowhunting in a state forrest today and ofcourse I was ready

The weater was not the best, a real snowstorm made the hunt a bit harder than normal

We startet with breakfast, 23 bowhunters and one hunter with a sweissdog ( trail dog ) and he go in the wood with his riffle, and hunt with us.......
5 guys from the forrest would walk around in the 1000 acers wood, to make the deer walk past a hunter, thats the plan

We get a number and then we got drop around the wood, in the right places, the leader said
I got a post between to pices of spurce ( green trees ) and I made a little hole to hide in.....
Sooooo much snow and very hard to see against the wind and my bow keep getting covered in snow
After a little time I see 4 roe deer running from behind and past me at 60 meter, and later a singel deer came in front of me, running like hell and passing me at 10 meter on the trail I was told to get close too
A bit later I see 2 deer in front of me, walking very slow and my heart try to beat the snow of my jacket
They dissapear behind some trees and I draw my bow and is ready when they use the trail, but they dont
They go more to the left of me and pass me in 30 meter in some big trees, without any chance to shoot
At 1 pm, after 3 hours in the snow, the hunt stopped and we have to walk back to the road to get back to a fireplace in the wood, where some food was ready

3 deer was shot, two arrows had missed, no hit at all and a nice day was close to an end.......
After the parade it was a very bad weather to drive home, a lot of cars off the road, but I made it home safe
